Dehradun in Uttarakhand has been in the spotlight today following a tragic road accident in the region. A Himachal Roadways bus carrying around 36 passengers plunged into a deep gorge near Kuanu village on Meenak Road in the Kalsi area of Dehradun district on February 3, 2026, resulting in at least four deaths and more than 13 injuries. Rescue operations have been launched by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and medical facilities nearby have been placed on high alert to treat the injured.
